New Covid-19 Arrangements
· Contactless Check In
We have introduced a contactless booking and checking-in system.
Although we are normally on hand to assist with arrivals, it is also
possible to make your way directly to your accommodation. We will send
you detailed instructions for the campsite and our map in advance so you
will have all the information you need before you get here. Please note
all glamping units are in their own private areas separate from the
campsite. Now, when booking a glamping unit we ask you to settle the
balance for your whole stay upfront. Extras, such as buying wood or
heatlogs, can be purchased when booking. These will be waiting at your
glamping unit when you arrive. If you wish to buy anything while on site
e.g. more wood or eggs, we have a contactless card machine. For your
peace of mind, all bookings can be changed up to twice within an 18
month period in case lockdown conditions alter according to Dogwood
Glamping’s Coronavirus Booking Guarantee.
· New toilets/washroom block
Each glamping unit has its own private toilet, either a compost toilet
or a portaloo/ toilet tent. In addition we are in the process of
building a new toilet and shower block in time for our expected opening
on 4 July. The facilities will now comprise four toilets, two showers,
hand sanitising dispensers and two washing up sinks. The new washroom is
being designed with Covid-19 in mind to ensure minimum contact between
users. The shower block is shared with the campsite.
· A more rigorous cleaning regime
Though we have always taken a thorough approach to cleaning, our new
regime will reflect the increased importance of hygiene. Our communal
toilets/ showers will be given a thorough clean three times a day. Hand
sanitising dispensers will also be available in order to make touch
points like door handles more sanitary.
· Social distancing measures
Camping is, by its nature, an activity which lends itself to social
distancing, nonetheless we are introducing new measures to enhance the
Covid security of our site. Please follow the new guidance and ensure
you and all those in your party, including children, are aware of and
willing to follow this guidance and pay attention to information on
site. This way everyone can enjoy a wonderful holiday, secure in the
knowledge they have done everything possible to keep themselves, their
family and our small community safe.
Thank you and we hope to see you later in the summer!
